A Video Editing Tutorial: drawing on your videos
So I've been working in After Effects for a lengthy period of time now. As for the utilizing of Adobe After Effects in experimental videos, it's something that should be explored. There are thousands of tutorials to bring videos to the forefront of video editing that coincides with Adobe Premiere Pro CC. I will include the finished product of my experience with the 'scribble effect' tutorial as well as the presentation for creating your very own video with this technique.
This effect basically become popular around 2015 and has been trending ever since. With the hit song, Where Are You Now, performed by Justin Bieber, this effect monetonized and become a commercial venue for gaining interest, collecting viewers, and keeping the spectator's attention. Since then, many online video artists have created ways for people to duplicate the desired affect. However, it is a tedious and long endeavor without the assistance of other project partners.
This image below is a screen capture I made while working in Adobe After Effects with this particular technique. I used an older video from my Vimeo account and added roughly 50 frames of doodling to get two seconds worth of effect. Is it worth it? I definitely think so!
